Citibank has one of the best credit cards for small business. It offers 0% interest for 12 months on purchases and balance transfers. Their thankyou reward program is also very good that lets you earn points redeemable for pretty much anything. I have one and I absolutely love it.

Any advice on choosing a small business credit card?
I recently began my own business, and a friend recommended applying for a small business credit card. Though I have been using my personal visa and mastercard, she mentioned there are some cards available with fixed rates which work especially with small businesses. Other than American Express and the other major cards, are there any others out there that may be worth a shot?

If you’re planning to pay your balance in full each month, then you’ll want the credit card (or combination of cards) that will pay you the most for your expected spending profile. That is, how much you expect to spend on office supplies, gasoline, travel, telecom, restaurants, etc.

The quickest way I know to figure out which credit card will pay you the most for your spending profile, is this rewards calculator:

If you’re planning on carrying a balance for a while, then there are some business cards with nice low fixed APR (e.g. Advanta). There are also cards with introductory 0% APRs. You can also browse cards via that web site.

How do I get a small business credit card?
I’ve owned a small business for the past 4 years. I want to expand but I need more employees in my line of work. I heard an advertisment on the radio today that said, “get a small business credit card regardless of personal credit. If you have terrible credit and want to start a business, you qualify!”
I was busy and couldn’t write down the number. If this real and where can I sign up??

How can I get a small business credit card that offers 0% APR on balance transfers?
I own a successful small business with excellent credit rating. I need a small business credit card that offers 0% APR on balance transfers and/or outstanding rewards-points program. What can you recommend to me? Also, isn’t there a web site that helps you find/match personal credit cards to your preferences – is there such available for business too?

I googled business credit cards for ya and sites like Findbizcards etc don’t have anything in terms of business credit. You’re going to find that since this economy is in the crapper, banks are less than willing to lend to a business, even if it’s successful.

Do credit card companies send small business credit cards to people who do not own small businesses?
Is it normal practice for credit card companies to send, pre-approved or not pre-approved, small business credit cards to people who do not own small businesses? Have you ever received one?
